Hi, we are not outfitters, my partner have been hunting this area for over 40 years, Since it's located near a National park, it's pretty secluded. We are located approx 2 hours North of Montreal. We've been doing swap hunts for several years and can provide very good references. The only reason you would not get your bear would be because of a bad shot. As far as the size, we have bears that are over 400 pounds (Like deer, patience and scent control are key elements especially with a bigger bear. If you have an email address, I can send you other pics.

The license is around $185.00 CN, cost to access the area is $250.00 CN (it's government regulated fee, not an outfitting fee since we're not outfitters) You bring your own food and ideally an ATV (though we had hunter just coming with just a pick up or truck,) From the cabin, you can access 4 to 5 baited spots. We bait from May 1st till the end of season June 30th. Great dates are third week of may for big bear , second of June is excellent, Being a swap, there is no other fees involved.
