No.  I am a good shot, but I don't want to take the chance of wounding this great buck.  Not worth it.  I respect any animal for I do not want it to suffer regardless if it's a lifetime buck or not.  That is a very nice deer for sure.  good luck.

Hell yea. Out in the open like yep. Only question I would consider was how far away it was. A 30-06 with 220 grain bullets will do me a good job.

Or in my case a 12 gauge slug or my 270.  Can't see how it would not knock him down.

With a gun he would fall in a heap. With a bow no. I had a shot like that last year with a bow at 15 yards and I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Even though he was a big gorgeous 10 pointer

With a gun I'm shooting one shot in the air to get him running (fair chase) and with the second shot putting him down. ;)  With my crossbow that thing is toast.
