These are rated pretty good, and look comfortable....but, the price is high. Is it worth the cost? Have you used them?

I have around 25 single/double ladder stands.  I put one up this fall that I really like and think is the best of the lot.  It's the "venture" model made by "Big Game Treestands"  It's 17' to the seat and I added the 4' 4x4's to the bottom.  It has a curved seat and platform that allows easy shooting in all angles.  I would stay away from any double ladder stand that has only one place that attached to a tree.  (Not sure of the name but I bought a couple from Menards and it is a real struggle to get them to not squeak and rattle.

Never used them. They look nice and I've considered it but price tag usually pushed me away

Looks like the platform is longer and the seat is wider.
Only thing that I'm not sure I like, is the seat. I have lost a few to squirrels chewing them up.  I suppose you could remove it every hunt, but maybe a pain in the  :moon:

Squirrels and mice do a number on my seats. I take them down for offseason but once season opens they are there for the year

I put all the seats cushions on in September and remove them after hunting is done.  Usually sometime in the middle of December.  Squirrels and mice are not much of a problem during this time.

Do you guys think flip up seats are important. I do bow hunt as well as rifle so thinking the larger deck would be good.

I've never had a flip up seat so I would say it sure isn't a big deal.

My hang on has a flip up seat and it doesn't stop the mice. Nice for the extra room while climbing into it though

I know I have at least one that has a flip up seat.  I haven't hunted it yet so I don't know if it has any benefit.
