The only ice fishing i do in these parts is when I go to the freezer section in the grocery store for my fish  ;D. There are times when some of the lakes freeze but you won't see me on 4 maybe 6 inches of ice for stocked trout or pan fish.
if you kick me when I'm down you better pray I don't get up.

I chose crappie because we are on a real good crappie lake & we usually don't even have to leave the bay.  :fishing:

Has to be pike on tip ups.  It's easy and relaxing.

I voted Perch  cause they are the best tasting fish caught thru the ice.  Im hoping to target more trout this winter  Lakers mainly.  Caught a couple on my last trip to LOW whitefish bay last march.

I voted for pike too.  Here in ND we can use 4 tip-ups each so its a great day to take the family to the lake and put 16 of them out.  We have a BBQ on the ice, play hockey and chase flags all day.  The other thing I like about fishing for them is that when that flag goes up, you don't know whether the fish on the other end is 2 lbs or 20.

I'll second that ...location is a good idea on a persons screen profile.  :happy1:

It's not your fault jerkbiat....when I hear  "big pond" I just assumed you were talking about Mille Lacs. No worries

I'll look into the location thing...it's in your profile, just not displayed on the forum.
