starting to get pretty frustrated, concerned. my peppers arent sproutin yet. only got 2 cleomes that have come up. anyone else got anything growing yet??

You talkin about the margrets?? First year I tried em 2008 or so I waited 3-4 weeks no sprout contacted the seed seller, complained he sent new seed 2 different batches one old an one new.By the time they got here from Hungry my seed sprouted all of em! I felt like a real butt!!
I put in 6 dozen seed around the same time you did Feb 26 by yer posts here.Looked today an one of them planted about that time is just breaking soil,Jalipenos,Italinn pepperchinies, serraos, poblemo, arent showin but I know they will.I always start 2X as many as I want. Dont know yer growin method but I know you know mine.

What the heck.. First round of mater's and peppers are doing perfect, 3 weeks ago did another round and these never sprouted so I dug up the seeds put new seed mix in and started over. I usually mist the soil with a spray bottle once a day and keep covered.  The light is on em bout 5 hrs a day...what went wrong ?

Burned off the Asparagus today. Have around 150 plants. Can't wait! hubba_hubba-404.gif
Gonna put in some lettuce and radishes tomorrow. My black sand as I so love to call it is ready for some early seeds! Once they are up the blankets will come out if we have any more real hard freezing nights. Soil temp is a little cool yet but they always come.

I burn it off so the ground is black and it heats up a little faster. With the way the forecast temps look, I wouldn't be surprised to see it popping out by April 15-20. We would eat fresh Asparagus 365 around here if we could. And with that many we can some, and give a little away to friends. But not much! Little early for the rads and lettuce, but they always come. Spuds go in around Good Friday, but I will go earlier this year with it being late. None of the tomatoes or peppers go in till around May 15. Been burned to many times.

onions? I haven't seen any yet.......

Hey, I heard that asparagus roots can grow to 8 feet in the ground? (guess I won't be moving mine anytime soon) looking at increasing the plot.

Gonna start on my next raised bed soon (Mama like mine so much, she wants one now)

Just picked up the lumber for my potato boxes to try.... will be building them soon.....

Dang......no rest for the wicked......
