like all the rest of the melons, but when we were kids Dad was getting 1 and some times 2 a week, so don't I don't care for them.  I will eat them just not often.
a bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work!!

I had another inch and a half this morning. grass is pretty wet but still got my mind set on mowing it. I don't bag my clippings!!!!!
I don't bag every time. But I will this time. I did get most of mine cut yesterday,(what's not under the river) a little wet to bag so I'm gonna hit again later today and get the worst spots picked up. I do use the clippings for mulch in my gardens and it works great.
I love watermelons, the rest you can keep. I quit trying to grow them however. Not sure if I don't have the right soil or more to do with growing season length. Seems to freeze most years before they get ripe....take up a lot of space and get just a few that are edible

Lots and lots of watermelons going through the DC right now. I spose a lot of graduation receptions will be using them. I generally wait till they are more "in season" too, they seem sweeter then. Yes I like them and muskmelons too. Honeydew not so much.

That was a rather seedy reply, Dotch.  ;D We'll leave it to the gardening nostrums expert, Mr. Dig's 'em and plants 'em himself, Glenn the blue-tinged smurf.  :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Them blue onions would add even more color to already colorful shish kabobs. Next thing you know there'll be "Smurf on a stick" at the State Fair!  :happy1: burp-402.gif
