That sky-house is looking really good.  Nice windows, framing and panels.

How do you get the panels and framework up to the top?

That stand is one fine unit.

Gunner, I can lift the panel over my head pretty easily...150 or so....

Auggy, the plan right now is a tin roof (less weight) but I'm open to opinions.

Not sure on how long I have left, because what's there for water is still frozen. The swamp dropped about a foot since we haven't had much rain. So walking back and forth on foot has been relatively easy. Crossing the swamp has been a pretty good weight loss program though.... I dropped 15 already.

Hahahaha...I told ya, this build will prolly kill me.....
The only time so far I've had help was with the first panels brought out to the swamp....And it re-froze, so, not much work involved. Once it starts to thaw, it will get tougher.

That's my opinion👍
We are a little lazy. Build them inside the shop during the winter. Put the telephone poles up in the summer. Then set them in the winter with the skidloader if it's a wet area. Can drive about anyplace in the river bottom when frozen, as long as you have a chainsaw out front😁. Last year we would have had a tough time setting posts any place low it was so wet.

How is the ladder built?  I've examined the picture but am confused.

Easy, the ladder is built with 4 treated 2X4's. Each side is screwed together in an "L" shape to make it easier to bolt to the stand (and cheaper than using 4X4's that long). Each rung has a galvanized bracket over each one so that they will not split over time. If they do, you just take out a screw, slide the cracked board out and slide a new one in.

I did not get the 4th wall up today, because I spent today to build the roof.
Jr was going to be home for a couple hours, so after I got it assembled he helped me get it out in the swamp.
Needless to say, the swamp is no longer froze....I stepped in one hole and right up to the crotch I went in water.
But we did at least manage the roof out to the island.

Getting it up on top of the stand will be another story......

Yup Gunner.....Advil helps....  ;)
