well with only 50 miles on the new parts they stuck in, the oil again is milky and breaking down. got be a craked case or something, I cant believe the mechnaices couldn't find something when they had it open. I was told it was a bad bearing. well something made that bearing go bad. and the didn't find it. fkn Polaris bs. never again. I'm just beside myself.LPS don't by a Polaris. stick with manufactures that have been building these things like Honda Yamaha and yeah glenn, cansomething....hehe

  ok I won't say I told ya so!

Just spent the afternoon going thru mine. Took the chains off, checked air pressure in tires, changed oil and filter, anti freeze . Should be good to go. Next weekend the pressure washer cones out and it's getting a bath!

If you have milky oil you have a cracked head and coolant it getting into the crank case.

Not to say I TOLD YA it was more than a bearing...because that ain't gonna help. Those are some lousy "mechanics", and I don't even wanna call 'em mechanics, Boar...I'd go back there and rap 'em upside the head. Ya, I would.

Heck, Boar's got his own mechanics on here that are far better than the idjits he was taking it to!!! And leech is right...you've got a bad head or water jacket (coolant) crack. But now you've probably got a scored cylinder and maybe burnt valves, too. Don't wanna rain on yer parade, Boar, but that's what I'd be looking at.

I'd tell 'em to fix it right this time, and if not....small claims court. About $40 filing fee and easy to do. I've had to go that route twice, and won big both times. They have to pay the claim, all court costs, AND whatever ya sue 'em for.  Be glad to offer ya any help ya need, Boar.   

They didn't find it because they didn't HAVE A CLUE. How the hell can they call themselves mechanics?! First thing ya ALWAYS look for with milky oil is coolant leak, head gasket, or cracked head! Duh uh...!!!  doofus-2124.gif

screw the warranty. Have Polaris give you a different machine. If not make a lot of bad publicity for them.

I might mention the BBB too, see if that lights a fire under their  . It's a 2011 Yamaha Grizzly for us, didn't get it new but it wasn't even broke in,< 250 miles, when we got it.

Personally I'd be checking out the LEMON Law, does it only pretain to Autos?? Big companies care of nottin but profit!! an at times a lemon is sent out to the public forsale. One in few but they dont care ! Paid for now its yer problem.Sometimes I am hesitant to pay in full with cash (Which we normally do except for new truck car) Just for that reason! Use it a year then payoff extra intrest costs but if it a lemon you got something over their head when you owe and say its a lemon! dont repair it replace or I dont pay and the machine is not here you find it till problems are resolved. You da littleman to them!!
