ive used oyster sauce mamy ti.e on my chicme on the grill, u can find it in any food store, but i lime going to mom an pop asian store where stuff is more authentic. it adds alot to chicme an burgers. tastes like crap but when its cooked and bbq sauce is added or not added. its awsome!!!!!

I use it also Boar.  I get stuff for my Asian cooking at Seoul Foods of 65.  Kind of like making sausage.  If you want things authentic you go where they sell authentic stuff and a vast variety of it.  good luck.

I've never used it on it's own.  It's usually something you add in Asian cooking.  But maybe Boar can chime in on what he mixes with it for burgers.  good luck.

Way too salty for me!!!  :tongue: It's an earthy, concentrated dark sauce of cooked down oyster juices and soy sauce with seasonings. Look for it in the Asian foods section of any grocery store...

the salty makes sence,  if one uses it, use lightly and with other ingredients.. got ya  thanks!!!

Yes HD,  it''s in that little shopping area.  There is a Korean resturant right next to it.  For anyone who likes ramen,  they have the best quality stuff there with much to choose from.  good luck.

as soon i start my chick on the grill i baste with it, let.it cook, the add bbq sauce at the final stage. with burgers i do the same.. or ive just mixed equal amount of both for basteing

I like oysters and have always wondered how oyster sauce tasted.  I see it mentioned in things and would like to try it.

dont taste befor its.coom cause its horible. but afte its cooked on meats it really good

You can buy it at wally world even.  And 7 bucks is outrageous.   Hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, those asian guys got it going on.
