OK here's my update then - I actually won this a couple of years ago on a site that we no longer visit.  I just couldn't remember how the scoring worked.

Pick the team that you think is going to win & add the points you think they'll have at 1/2 time to the points they'll have at the end of the game. So it's Vikings & their 1/2 time points scored + 32 for your #. As for my pick, I'll take the Vikes & 42
