 So i got 2 jalapenos plant, 2 banna pepper, 2 habenaro and 1 ghost pepper plant. Cant wait, then i planted 4 squashkin plants. Hybrid cross of pumpkin and butter cup squash. Makes awsome pies!

so after this heat spell, I've come to the conclusion that my radish crop is going to be a failure, and not sure what my spinach and lettuce crop will be like since there all 3 a cool weather plant. :doah: :doah: :confused:


so DOTCH...…….. wanna send me the crop failure forms to file a claim!!!!!!!!!! :happy1:

My few radishes went belly up bolted,spinach same didnt plant lettuce cause I figured it;d go the same I miss my fresh warm crisp radish

Nice setup HD.  I made some 3 x 7 garden boxes about 3 years ago and they are pretty cool but to not have to bend over would really be nice.  So is that regular dirt in those?  Just wondering about the weight issue.  I showed them to the wife now she wants them.  So do I.

I buy top soil from Menards or Flea Flarm and use that.

Looks like I'm not going to retire on the radish crop this year. Nice top growth but not much underneath. Oh well, the sheep will enjoy them. Have to bank on a bumper zucchini crop I guess... :confused:

when I first plant my tomatoes, cabbage and pepper plants I put the old metal 3 lb coffee cans around them to assist in watering them as well as to help protect them.


today I took them all off, I definitely think this intense heat is affecting the plants. picking up those cans as well as rocks in the garden they were really warm.

dang its ugly outside.

We had 1/2 inch in 45 minutes and NO I shower almost daily!!! Maybe more rain commin?? maybe?? :thumbs:. A :thumbs:t least a wildflower plot for butterflys,birds an Ferdinand got wet seeds now!!

The few radish I planted bolted! Their gone. I do have 8-10 orange and red cherry tomato's on my 2 cherry plants. Lost a flowers on peppers and maters.Just weeded yesterday.
