That knows a guy.....and his father makes custom spears....

Where do you get yours from?
Were they custom?
Did your Grandfather pass them down to you?
How did you get into spearing?

my first from my Great Uncle who passed away in the mid 70's, a 5 tine...   got a 13 pounder off it!!!  first time I used it too!!!  my main one now is a Kramer out of Melrose, he's out of the game now I think....

got into it cause I inherited the 5 tine and his red white plastic decoy, still have both too!!!

good subject!!!

Started spearing watching/ sitting in a dark house with my parents at about age 7-8. My first spear was a Randall, my second spear was a custom made spear from a guy around cold spring. My current spear is one of them Amish Spears. My favorite decoys are the various colored bear creek decoys that are shaped like a pike.

My first was an eagle claw hook rigged with a "real minnow" rigged with monofilment and a jiggle stick... been hooked ever since. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
