We got our 1st one not long after we came home. Must've been pretty close to Thanksgiving. Cann't remember who sent it as it didn't hang around very long.

Been getting catalogs from different companies since about Thanksgiving including the wholesale outfit where I order 50,000 tomato plants for glenn! The Jung's catalog just arrived today so will have something to read during Gunsmoke.  :happy1:

Might as well do some plantin on a cold crappy day. Serrano,  bell, cayenne,  thai,  jalapeno and 2 beefsteak.  Last year I bought 4 pepper plants from a fund raiser, which came from gertens,  they were 2 plants in one container so that's how I'll do these.. :happy1:

Great! No crop failures here; 'cept for wimpy scrawny onyums. I think they were genetically stunted to begin with.  :whistling:

I gots a question.  So lots of my plants go in pots n buckets, they usually do real well except last year the maters got all fungust up. Do you bucket growers start with fresh buckets every year or scrub em up? I've been using the same ones for quite a while,  seems the peppers could care less cuz they've been fine..

I always scrubbed mine out with bleach and water, let dry in the sun. I also have about 7 or 8 1/8" holes drilled in a circle in  the bottom, with a round piece of screen inside, and about 1'' sand on top of that for drainage.
