whats the best bait??? ther isnt one..its what ever yu can find for free or reasonable amount of money. if your in a high density area, youll have alot.of.compition. he with the freshest usually wins. pluse a variety is extreamly helpful to not cause bait burnout.
natural bait is awsome, trail mix.granola.types, oats.
sweets are a must, and pretty much any sweet stuff works. what ever u can get ur hand on.
picker bait is a good.thing, like popcorn, skittles, gummies of any kind
and so on.
secrete bait?? what ever u use that gives u confidence.
my bait first i open a site with about 50 gal. of fryer grease.
i have barrels.of rolled.oats,
peanut butter
carmel
trail mix
granola, cherry flavored to
pop tarts
cookies
2 barrels.of burnt honey
 500 lbs of.lqourice.
500.lbs of.doughnuts.left.
pails.of.frosting..i use as needed and mix thing up.a bit. i love the baiting more.than any thing!!

Where does he keep all of it? Havta to build a special shed?  How do ya keep all other critters away?  We'd probably have every skunk & raccoon in the area climbing all over it here. Hard enough to keep 'em away from where I bury the  guts & hang the hummer feeders.

we had been keeping it in a locked shed. it just had a dirt floor. for a long time it was ok, then a skunk found it. now we keep it in a steel bin where we keep our smaller outboard motors. we usually try to only bring enough up to bait for the amount of time we are up there to bait.

i googled them after he gave me the name!!!! just a little out of my way up to the cabin. i may check them out. while on there site i seen Wheezy outdoors commented, there a young couple, Justin and Alice, some eye candy   that guides up in the grand rapids area use them for bait. he used to work at the faculity we organized in rapids.

been thinking of buying oats and mixing with grease and molasses to switch bait around.
