Yes it did...memories? That's how I still fish and believe it should be! Can't beat some nice stripers or crappies yankin' that bobber down....

i'll use worms occasionally, usually use plastics or leeches now!!!!!

Yupper. Nice article. Fishing with worms in the Spring Valley, Deer and Bear Creeks and the Root River consumed a lot of my time as a lad. Sometimes tossing a spinner and other times just bobber fishing from the bank in somebody's pasture. No cell phones and the only worry was if there was a bull in with the cows.

man that Jason Mitchell on the home page looks like he gained a whole bunch of weight.  last i seen him was 8-9 years ago at the ice show..........he wasnt nowhere what he looks like now.

there is a place north of cold spring not far from Thompsons greenhouse that grows mushrooms and i've always wanted to check it out!!!!!!!!!!

looks like the lift bridge is stuck about 1/2 way up..  it sure isn't moving and there are no ships around...  I see I missed the right forum for this.. anyway the bridge is down now...
