I am a classic rocker.  I grew up with a country playing all instruments Grandma and Grandpa.  It was great.  I have always had a love for the Highwaymen.  Johnny Cash, Willy, Waylon, and Kris Kristofferson.  There is a great PBS thing that is real old with them.  I saw it not too many years ago.  Great human interest story on each of them.  We listen to Highwaymen radio on Iheart radio when we have campfires.

:happy1: Brings back memories of KC's Arrowhead Stadium & Willie's 4th of July Picnic, actually the concert was 7/1/78. Willie, Waylon, Jessie Colter, Jerry Jeff Walker, & the Grateful Dead were the headliners. The way I remember it ;)  is Cash & Kristofferson made camoeos too but Google makes no mention of them being there. There was close to 50,000 people & ~ 300 kegs that were though.

Found a typo when I reread it & it wasn't 98 but 78 , it was a awesome concert. Think there was at least a dozen of us who drove down from N Ia. in 2 vans & a car. The guy who arranged the tickets had family in KC so we pitched some tents in their yard & stayed the weekend. Man those were the days.

:happy1: It was quite the mix, Reb, as there was a lot Deadheads there too. Seen where some of these early ones in Texas got pretty rowdy & they had security problems. Google said they had the Hell's Angels doin stage security at this 1
