I’ll start it off, what is everyone having for Christmas dinner. Stuffed pork chops, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, broccoli salad. Starters are crab dip, buffalo chicken dip, spinach artichoke dip, shrimp cocktail glazed meatballs
if you kick me when I'm down you better pray I don't get up.

Looks excellent coffee! 100% better than the Steelers or the Vikings did. Glenn told me boars family was on a diet, hence no food!

Traditional Christmas Eve fare here. Crackers, cheese, cranberry wild rice summer sausage and pickled herring for appetizers. Then oyster stew for main course, made with enough Hope creamery butter to make any Jersey cow proud.  :happy1: For tomorrow, marinating lamb chop in cranberry-raspberry juice seasoned with Cavenders for the grill. Apple wood soaking overnite. With 40 degrees forecast for a high, it'll be warmer than it was on Thanksgiving. May as well pull out all the stops.  :happy1:

That costs extra.  He probably just gave them $5 to let him take the pic there.   LOL   Just kidding.  That looks like a fun place to be Jeff.  Say hi to the family.

Finally got everything put away & am leaning towards that nap glenn told me not to take.  Grilled/smoked lamb chops marinated in raspberry/cranberry juice seared a minute on each side direct then finished 5 minutes a side indirect with apple wood in the smoker boxes. Norkotah baked poataoes, sweet potatoes, cranberries and tossed salad with pomegranate vinaigrette dressing. I was starving. Plate was my 2nd helping.  :embarrassed:

Remember, red wine with meat.  White wine with fish, gray wine with carp.

We had Christmas down at my  daughters house.  Played the dice game just like every year.  Won a lot of booze.  My son in law made the prime rib and did another great job.  The chef got the ribs from the roast.  Went with him to pick up a new smoker at Fleet Farm.  Got the 40 inch Masterbuilt electric.  Before he met me [and my other son in law], he never cooked much at all.  Now both have smokers.  They never fished much before either and never hunted.  City boys that golfed.  good luck.

R.H. has my attention with cub meat  rarely shop there always a mad house with idiots pushing carts,,last week I caught wind of cub's cooked prime rib cut to order for 6.99/lb med rare, not much flavor so a little doctoring with herbs and low simmer in jonnies french dip made the slabs fork tender,so much so I went back xmas eve for more, some beeches jacked the price up tp $9.99/lb still a good deal and no fuss, fork tender.
