This Easter will be strange for most of us.  No family, just us three in the house.  Me, my wife , and her 94 year old mom and I forgot Lucy our lab.  I'm making German roladen, real dumplings, and my German kraut with the bacon.  Great gravy from the roladen.  What are you guy's making?  good luck.

I was given an 11 lb ham from a friend here.  So looking forward to it.  I suppose I will bake it in the oven and will have to think of what the classic sides are for Easter.  Love ham.

Gonna brine and smoke some chicken thighs, I think.  Haven't planned the sides yet.  Probably some kind of potato or rice and a veggie.

Debating whether it'll be marinated lamb chops smoked up with pear or apple wood or go the whole enchilada with leg of lamb on the rotisserie. Weather forecast looks kinda crappy so may be leaning towards chops. Might hafta stretch the prep time or I'll hafta drink faster...

We had bought our Easter meal before all this crap hit the fan...
Alaskan crab legs.
So, with no family coming home... maybe just a grilled cheese sandwich.

Fed the bottle lambs then had grilled Swiss cheese sammiches & clam chowder for lunch.  :happy1:

Not gruel, Congee.

I have no idea.   First Easter not going to family celebration... Maybe some ribs.  Or prime rib style chuck roast in sous vide....Or PB and J

No kids + no grand-kids + no church = me cooking with nobody complaining. Gonna be eggs with thick slice bacon and toast. Wash it down with orange juice. Complainers can go hungry.
