Glenn printers are dirt cheap. They clobber you on the ink but the printers themselves are really affordable. If you think your laptop will take a crap next year now is the time to buy. Before Christmas will save you the most money.
yea been thinking that too......especially the saving money part. we did do a little printer shopping.......seems everyone and there brother bought one cause the places we looked were out of them. :pouty:

Yep, I can't figure that out out either.  I have one on back order from Best Buy.

Maybe with many still working from home now, it increased demand.

Wouldn't doubt it. Talked to my brother in IA this a.m. He said the UPS guy was delivering in his personal vehicle because they simply don't have enough vans to deliver all the stuff being ordered online. It took him way longer than normal to get the tractor parts he ordered.

Funny how shipping works.
I boxed up a bunch of paperback books I was done with yesterday to ship to a buddy in Georgia. Took them to the post office did the label thing and the lady told me $36.00 which I thought......ok, Ok, I bought the things at $10 a piece and now it's another $36.00 to get rid of them. But it was a better option then throwing them away so I told her OK. She then rattles off questions on whats in the box to make sure we can ship them. I said books. She said, what else? I said only books. She says well if it's only books I can save you a couple of bucks, we can ship them for $8.60 .........WTH?

Weird but what do ya do?

BTW, A roll of stamps is $55.00

You guys are spending way to much money 💰....
I run this website, my online banking and all of my online purchases on a crappy chromebook... cost me $200 five years ago.

I thought about getting a new one  but why? This one is still ticking. I'm pretty sure, I'll be getting a new chromebook when this one takes a crap... but so far, I'm good.

I seen that they have them on sale at Costco 😲

I'm 3 miles south of town depending where you want to go. I-Falls runs east & west and i'm right off of Hwy 53 & County Road 322.

We used to bring one about that age along on Crop Tour as a backup. We used it as a doorstop mostly... :azn:

Yea nice idea, but do they have the ability to get all my stuff transferred??! I am not qualified!! :pouty:

The big issue is what died on your old computer that it isn't booting and just beeps.   If the hard drive still works the data can be transferred.    If the drive died then it can't without spending more money than you would want to.

Do you ever back up your data, like to the cloud or a thumb drive or an external Hard Drive?   It's a good idea.    I have a 2Terabyte portably drive I use for the laptop backup.    I think they go for like 99 bucks, or get a 1Terabyte drive for 69 bucks if you cheap like Glenn.

We mainly use flash drives here. The older pc's both have external hard drives with 'em too.
