He did get it to cycle it a few times. Today we will be running some 7.62 rounds through it to see if that makes a difference.

We just got back from Fleet Farm... and I scored some ammo! Yup, I was shocked😲.... $27 a box  :sleazy:

Just pressin' the like button doesn't do your rifle justice.   :hubba:

Great lookin gun.  How all you need to do is to find enough ammo to break in the barrel.  :bonk:

The stock & pistol grip I got from Boyds. I don't know if you can see it in the picture, but I added a small forearm that I got from Amazon. If you shoot a lot like I do, that rail can get pretty warm. 🔥

For those of you that are doing an AR-10 build, and are having issues with "piercing" primers. I have a fix for you. Most AR-10's in the .308 are border line in the cartridges you run. The 6.5 Creedmoore runs a higher muzzle velocity, and have issues with cycling.

So, if you have any questions... please ask.

Howdy boys. I got my lowers machined a couple weeks back and I order my parts for the build a couple days ago. Went with Palmetto State Armory 20" stainless in 5.56.

So I did a little assembling last night. Still need to get a scope yet. This may become the wife's and I will get a .223 Wylde. This one is a 556 with a 20" barrel.

She was already planning to build one too. I bought 2 lowers. One for each of us. Main reason she might take this one is after I ordered the 556 kit I learned more about the 223 Wylde and wished I had gotten that. Supposed to be more accurate. So she told to get that and she would take this one. We will see. Wifey likes her guns too.
