The top where the root meets the leaves at ground level. Replant this and you have new horseradish next year.

i'll be giving some of that to my friend where the horseradish is planted. he still works......drives semi all over the place. i got time.

oh....thats a small batch!!!!!!!!!! :happy1: it's normally double that much!!!!! running out on horseradish is kinda like running out of beer or katchup!!!!! :doah:

yea lets see, it goes on fish, hot dogs, bologna, sausage, pork chops and steaks, beef roast, in my homemade bloody mary mix, and even throw some on my hash browns!!!!!! :happy1: :happy1:

yea i like to share it also!!!!!!

here's the thing with horseradish.....its pretty time consuming. i aint never had noone tell me they didnt like it and i take pride in how mine turns out. i'd rather share, or give a few jars away then sell it.  dont wanna go down that road.

now peopel will say ya gotta make it this way or that way, add this or that.....i make it my way...............................

Is it grated or creamy? I'm trying new to me store bought applewood smoked hosey sauce, cream type for sammies, not bad but doesn't have the horseradish bite I like.

How about pickles glenn, you can pickles as well?

Glenn's Homemade Bloody Mary Mix

I gotta say, Glenn, you are spot on.  We make our Bloodies with Clamato and won't do it any other way.

snow.......its not creamy.....that would require adding half and half or something to that extent...... not happening to MY horseradish!!!!!!

YES i can my own pickles..........but i do not add horseradish to them.

i have tried store bought horseradish..........its just not the same as homemade. idont know how they make this XXX horseradish?? they gotta add some really hot pepper stuff to it.

this batch has plenty of zing to it, yet actually tasted like good horseradish............its the amount that might hurt you!!!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
