Getting to believe this storm has been blown out of proportion again!! :doah: especially around here. Not so much down Dotch and Roonys country. Lot of roads closed and no travel advised out that way!

The local stations here are all talking about another round coming ~ 3-4 AM.  Might get another 1-2"here, they said. Probably not very good out in the country now, even here. Schools are going, but 2 hours late tomorrow though.

not sure how much we have gotten but the drifts really grew overnight!!!

update: just went out and looked at the driveway...  3 foot high drifts....  the NE winds really muck things up here for the drifts..  NW is bad enough..  oh well Mother nature doing her thing!!!

Just got done with moving snow and having a cup. I know we didn't get the worse case scenario that was broadcast but we go great plenty, some pretty impressive drifts. I'd been pecking away at it for about an hour and, lo and behold, here my cousin pulls in the driveway with his tractor and blower. All is well and they made a path on our road so the warden went in to work.

Blew enough out so we could do chores last nite. Some impressive drifts, 4'+ in places. Took some time & made the tractor bark grinding thru it. Other places it blew clear so measuring this stuff is a real crapshoot. Blew back in again overnite so had to blow a path again for chores this morning. There was another 3" that fell on top of what blew around when I was out checking lambs at 3:30 a.m. Storm total best rough guess ~15".

I'll be anxious to see what the snowmagadon accumulation totals are from across the state.

Someone please do post up a link if you run across something.

I'd say 6 or 7 here, but as HD said the nasty drifts!!! drifts higher than the blower so had to work at them...  it even packed underneath my Impala rather tight...  but got it all cleaned up for this round...  legs are hurting like all get out....    have to see what the next round brings us...

 Me neither, but mikey's map has 19-20" reported for Apple Valley & almost 17" for Burnsville. A few higher & lower but it's mostly 13-15" in the SW metro too. I don't see any #'s for CS, glenn, but the nearest totals SE of you are ~13". Closer to 10-11" at St. Cloud though.

My sister near Minnetonka had about 6 the first day and cleaned it up and another 12 fell overnight into this morning.  That is their estimates.

Final storm total tally at the ranch was 16". Owatonna NWS gauge at the airport recorded 19". Yup, those 19 year cooks are multi-talented. Timmy was here pitching in too, cleaning up the afterbirth while Gwen made sammiches. One Minnesota!

 WCCO makes it look like it won't get this far north but the 24/7 weather channel out of Bemidji says ~ 2". The Duluth channel said early today, more like 2.5" for us. Guess, we'll find out soon enough. TWC's site is currently sayin 4-6" for central & west central Mn. North of a line from Montevideo & the south metro. That's OK with me if you guys get it all.  :sleazy:         ;)

well my guess is we got about 5 inches of snow and it's wet stuff too..   have some drifting too...  must have had some mist in it too as my north windows have frozen moisture on them...   wait awhile and then get the snow blower going...   no rush..
