Still pretty fine stuff but it definitely picked up about 4:30, tougher to see all the way across the bay now. Some plows out down by GR now too.

It balks sometimes on the MNO log in here too but I can usually attribute that to internet related issues. The internet signal comes off the neighbor's grain leg. Weather and I think the neighbor burning up too much bandwidth watching porn are factors. :rotflmao: It's been better since they upped our speed after  Jan. 1st. And, with some sites, when using my phone, I have browser issues using Google when entering data. With Firefox, it works fine for whatever reason.

Weather has shifted gears. All sleet and freezing rain. Sounded like the pole barn was being sandblasted when finishing chores a little bit ago. Looks like more liquid-form precip just across the IA border heading this way, very s-l-o-w-l-y.

 :coffee:

9:40: Was just out and fed the bottle lambs. Raining. Yard is like a giant white Slurpee. ~2" of snow is just slop after it soaked up the rain.

Wet and slushy here in God's Country. Nice to see the moisture. Glad we dodged the bullet on heavy snowfall!
Yes, be careful shoveling this stuff.

Was curious to see what everyone got so far.  We got absolutely nothing.  I mean nothing.  Had south wind earlier now it is from the north.  ???  So much for our 5-11".

The Duluth station had a reporter down on the lakewalk early this morning & you could hear the wind howling off of Superior. They had 7" up on the hill then & 1-2" < downtown. Their map still had us in the 6-10" range with Scenic & you LOTW guys in the 4-8" range.

Snow is almost gone in these parts. Still raining. OK for now but if this pattern keeps up, give it a few weeks and the whining will begin after the spring we had going. It's all good. People were already talking about doing stupid things. We had more moisture in the soil down to 2' than most realize before this latest precip.

1.25" of liquid equivalent total at the ranch from Saturday & Sunday with 1.35" in Bugtussle proper. Expecting another half to 3/4" today with some snow and sleet to finish us off tonite. Once it warms up, things should green up quickly. Good to know Firefox worked for you Ken. There has to be a setting someplace on Google I'm unaware of but so far I remain clueless.

I usually use Chrome at home but not up here. I do have issues just getting to the site down there sometimes too. I've found refreshing the browser 2-3 times will often help or if that doesn't work go to another site 1st & that will help sometimes as well. It's been :snow2: coming down pretty steady here since ~ 8-8:30 but it's really kicked it up a notch again now. I can't even see our neighbor's places to the north up our road now.
