I saw a high of 81° this afternoon. They're getting snow in the upper elevations of the Rockies.
I used to be cute and adorable. Then, I had my first birthday. Been downhill ever since.

The rain was done here by 10 last night but the radar looked like we had another round about 2 or 3 this morning too.

I heard rain on the roof sometime after 3:00. There was some lightning, too.

Better there than here. Supposed to see some snow tomorrow here but isn't supposed to be measurable. Be nice to start getting some recharge after very little precip since mid-September.

I just looked at my rain gauge and we had more rain then I thought.  We have well over a 1/4" in the rain gauge.  There were puddles in the driveway.

:tut: I had to use the wipers on the way to town yday, it was just a light mist but with that NE breeze I didn't think it was exactly tanning weather then. I still saw maybe 1/2 dozen guys running around in shorts, I think most of 'em had a hoodie on though. But at least a couple of 'em had nothing on their feet but flip flops.

Got a call from my brother. He said it is snowing and blowing in Mankato. It just started turning to snow here.

The precip map that the weather guy on the Duluth channel had up on the 5:00 news this morning showed a 3-5" band of snow from Hinckley over to just a touch NW of Hayward, Wis. It had a narrow band along the north & south shore of 1-3" too, that he said probably wouldn't stick.

Wound up with .78" of rain at the ranch from yesterday afternoon & last nite. Brought the October total to .86". In Bugtussle it was .90" & .97" respectively. In the changeover zone here so far. It was snowing in Bugtussle just a minute ago. It's back to a sideways drizzle. Oops! Now back to snow again. Mother Nature. Typical female... :coffee:

I had some water on the lid to the burn barrel & the cement in front of the garage as well the big shed was still wet when I went out about 8. So, we must've had a little rain again overnight. :happy1: Getting a light mist now too.

Just got back in from fence detail. Still wet enough where a branch was on top of the bottom wire resting on some damp leaves partially grounding the fence. More rain coming so good to have that job done.
