Climatis...isn't that a female body part?

That is what crosses my mind anytime someone mentions it too.   :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Aside from the perennial floral stuff  & rhubarb, most of ours is still in the packages. If it doesn't change soon, we'll be forced to limit our planting. Sux but not our 1st rodeo. Still a lot of things we can plant up until July 4th including tomatoes, string beans & sweet corn. Fall veggies like winter radishes & snap peas work planted in early August. If part of the garden has to remain fallow, so be it.

We had a feast from the garden last night. Roasted radishes with onions and garlic scapes. Lots of butter on them. Made for a really nice side. I threw some peppers in mine, too. Delicious.
I used to be cute and adorable. Then, I had my first birthday. Been downhill ever since.

They were good. I just cut the tops off the radishes and cut them in half. I make a pouch out of aluminum foil. Put the radishes (about 24 of them),  onion slices, garlic scapes and a couple good sized chunks of butter in the pouch. I sprinkled on some garlic and parsley powder the wife gets from Aldi. Put it on the Weber for about 20 minutes.

scape, I believe it's the top when it starts growing the seed pocket.  You want them cut off if I remember correctly.

What Are Garlic Scapes?

garlic scrape from www.thespruceeats.com
Garlic scapes are thin, vibrant green stalks that grow from the garlic bulb. They are long, curvy, and kind of look like a cross between chives and scallions.

That sounds about right. My wife and daughter have been waiting for the scapes to appear.
