Fish stopped bitting.  Made a small move in the cold and wow we landed on a huge school.  Had our 10 more in 30 minutes and released 30 more.

Looks great DK, hopefully the norten didn't have much life left to spaz out and send the knife flying.. been a few yrs since I kept one, our chain of lakes the #'s aren't what they used to be so we let em all go free.

The pike didn't fit in the snow filled bucket so it was frozen solid.

We found "good" ice, but walked a good 3/4's of a mile to get to my annual "super bowl" spot.
Ice was clear, and only 6" to 8" thick.

We got more than a few......
