So to start off....Boar and Glenn keep your smart ass comments to yourself....

The question is, I have an elderly father of 80+ years. He has had hip & knee replacements and does not walk very well.

But, he wants to go out fishing....maybe his last time, I'm not sure.

So, I'm looking for someone around central Minnesota that has a pontoon and is willing to take us out to catch some pan fish.
He is somewhat mobile, but not the best...that's why I'm looking for someone that has a pontoon with rails. I'm willing to pay for gas, lunch & beer or a guided trip...could be a private party or a guide service.

Do any of you know of someone? Let me know, Thanks!

:doah:  I'm kinda offended   :rotflmao:

Somebody needs to help me with the name, but there's a group that does that for elderly and disabled.  I know of one in grand rapids and the Willmar area , but for the life of me can't remember the name. :bonk:

Your Boat Club rents all sorts of boats. There on several lakes and rivers. If I owned a pontoon I would have been happy to do it.

I think I got it figured out. I enlisted my son to help me get him in the boat. The landing is on a lake close to his assisted living community. It has a dock, and we "should" be able to load him and take him out for a few hours. We'll see.....
