Anyone else get one? This is my first time getting one.
Looks like an antique paper

Ever order anything from them?

I got 1 today.....Not impressed. I have gotten 1 for quite a few years. To many old varieties. Never found it worth ordering from Shumway.

I see it's owned by Jung seeds, at least from what I seen
a bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work!!

Yup along with some others including Vermont Bean Co. Shumway seemed to carry more heirloom varieties last I checked. I ordered blue Hubbard squash from them a few years back. Jungs did not carry the full sized model, only the baby blue type. Haven't ordered anything from that catalog since.

I haven't ordered from Jungs for a few years now. I see they still have a better selection of snap peas & squash than can be found locally out here in the land of 🪨 🪨  & 🐄 🐄.  They've disappointed me when they carried a variety of squash or gourds I like only to discontinue them within a few years. Koshare yellow gourds & heart of gold squash are some examples. While they can be sourced elsewhere, ordering a couple packages & paying the freight makes me less apt to order them.

The cucumbers I use for pickling, I can't get the seeds at Maynard's.
They are a hybrid and have hardly any seeds. "Seed's and Such" is where I have gotten them in the past. The problem is that the time from planting to fruit is 60-65 days... so I have to start them inside. If I could find a similar seed with a shorter gustation period, I would give them a shot.

That's why I check out the catalogs....

You afraid the seeds will get you pregnant,  :rotflmao:

I personally don't worry about seeds to much.  My kid gave me some cukes without many seeds, thought they were good

What hybrids HD?? Wevalso eat cukes plain, is there a favor difference? I may need to look into them

Is everything pre-verted with you?

These are the ones I use. It says to maturity 52 days... but it's a crock, I haven't had that kind of luck yet.
