Like the video you showed there are a bunch of videos and reviews of a lot of brands. Some look like they actually work OK. There's one video from a bunch of punks from MN called the Cboys where they buy two brands then destroyed both of them. But that's their whole YouTube deal getting 14 teen year olds to give them views.

They look handy for doing firewood too.  Can hold the whole tree trunk up whilst you cut it up into rounds. We have some dirt that needs moving around here too.

"Honey, what's in this great big box the Amazon driver just dropped off?"

glenn said he would like to borrow it to dig a new hole for his chitter.. :coffee:

I hope Chinese excavators (and cell phones and TVs) don't turn out the same way as Israeli pagers...  just sayin.

At some point, there is a part of me that thinks...     The day is coming when all of our imported $#!T is goona just stop working all at once.

The one I am looking at has no computer at all.  Just the Briggs motor that runs the hydraulics.  All fixable.  Even Amazon has the attachments for it.  Like the spike that I will get to rip roots.  I am going to pick it up tomorrow.  It is less than what I paid for our lawn mower.  I am getting it brand new for $4,600.  There are a lot of brands out there and a lot of them for sale and that is why they are so cheap now.  Once tRump starts talking to China expect them to skyrocket in price.

Leech it is already set up and ready to go.  The guy has a gravel hauling business 30 miles north of Grand Forks.  This is his slow time and I think he buys one or two just to sell in the offseason. ???  Not sure but that is what it sounds like.  I will meet him tomorrow and get more info.  Real great guy over the phone.  I will let you know HD.  They are in auctions a lot.  Equipment auctions I guess.  They buy a few and try to make some money selling them.  I do think they are going to go way up in price when the supply gets thinner.

Was a long day.  Over 300 miles and didn't get my mandatory retirement nap after lunch.  BUT we made it.  Roads were pretty icy on the way over and they were out sanding.  Cooper and Jake came along of course so had a couple of pit stops for them too.  We shared an all beef big hot dog for lunch.  Then they ate the napkins when I got out to unhook the trailer.  LOL   That's their job.  Now I have heart burn.  Too much relish I think.  I took the roll bar off to get it in the shop so that will be fun to play with for the next few day.  Till the wife says quit ordering stuff. Just sat down with a cocktail.  First break of the day.  Here are the pics so far.

I don't think the roll bar will go back on it.  Won't save me anyways.  It will get caught up in branches too.  Looks better without it.  It does have a drink holder in case you were curious.   :rotflmao: :rotflmao:  More pics tomorrow.

Yeah LPS, that’s not a roll bar, so it won’t do much. Now get to work

HD, I asked the guy where he got this.  He owns a trucking company and he said I pick things up in the cities now and then.  Didn't tell me a lot.  I see guys talking about how places have 10 or 20 of them and you just buy one.  I don't even think they start them for you.  Pick up with a fork lift and sit on your trailer.  Make sure it has a hydraulic filter as some you have to add it yourself.  Mine has it already which is great!

Mine is a 12 so 1.2 tons appx.  1.5 is 1.5 tons.  Just ordered a hydraulic thumb, 2 cooling fans, switch, oil change drain extension.  Will wait for the ripper till spring so the wife thinks this is a little more affordable.  Thinking about the quick hitch for easier exchanging from bucket to ripper. OR any thing else the UPS guy brings me.   :sleazy:   What is the one you are looking at HD?

Looks pretty close to mine.  There are a lot of them.  Some are made by companies that just buy the parts and put them together and then sell them.  SO they are kind of no brand.  I saw a vid about an Asian guy who sells them and he showed how he weighs them to see if they substituted substandard parts that make them lighter.  A lot of info on youtube.

I guess they started out with 8 and 10's.  Maybe even 6's.  So .8 tons, .6 tons, 1 ton etc.
