Had to laugh. Looked out the window at the garden area I planted Friday. It was under ~3" snow and the bunny tracks were just thick. They're taunting me...

Looks good.  I started some bulbs that I received to late to get in the ground last winter.  Guess I started them too early because they are already in full bloom.  Garage looks like a flower shop.

Looks like I probably better cover up my lettuce Sunday and Monday nights. 21 is a bit cold even for leaf lettuce.

If it would just snow again quick roony, you'd be good to go! Think we're gonna cover the daffodils tonite. Counted a couple dozen flower buds on them so not taking any chances. Didn't uncover the rhubarb so there's enough of last year's residue & leaves to protect it, I think. Got the apple & pear tree pruning done that I could from the ground. Should be able to finish when it warms up a little. Looks like the Haralson is taking this year off as is its habit. Last year it was loaded. Snow Sweet is looking promising however after bearing heavily in '24. It works good as a cooking apple too. Pear trees look good & I keep beating the plum trees back so they can expand.

What kind of seeding device do you use Dotch? I always get things too thick. My youngest son was the best radish planter ever. I told him to plant the seeds an inch and a quarter apart and that is just what he did. Great to have such patience and discipline.

It's a little el cheapo deal I got from Jung's for free once upon a time. It takes a little tweaking to get it calibrated to the seed size but once you do, it works decent. Not perfect spacing but it doesn't necessarily need to be for small seeded crops like radishes and greens.

Here's one just like it for sale on Amazon:

Hey that looks pretty slick! So you dredge it thru dirt setting seed at the same time it looks. Then come back and cover ? And here I just hand plant..
