I'm down in Des Moines at my in-laws for the weekend, and it is raining very heavily down here this morning. I hope it stays down here so you guys can have a decent Memorial Day weekend back home.

It looks like a mixed bag of weather for MN today, with severe storms and rain moving into the western part of the state from the Dakotas right now. Batten down the hatches, sounds like some strong wind gusts coming later in the day. I hope it moves through quickly.

Good Morning friends. Well we had a little rain down here south of the Metro overnight and this morning. When I checked the rain gauge at 10am after the rain stopped I was surprised to find we had received a little over an inch and a half overnight. WOW!

Sun is out now and it looks like we have several hours of sunny skies ahead of us for the afternoon.
