I hate those singing bass. My brother had one and he used to carry it around with him just to bug me with it.

I hear ya LL. I received 3 of those as gifts from people years ago. I hate them things. At Christmas I wrapped up all 3 in a gift grab bag along with many other undesirable items for all my guests. It turned out to be a lot of fun since everyone was trading off their gifts to each other.

:oops1: Someone left their Billy Bass at my house on purpose so I'll just have to rewrap it again next year.

Is that a stringer of Billy Bass that all sing together?   :rotflmao:

Wouldn't that just send you right over the edge??

Seriously though, nice mount.  :toast:

Must be the lighting, but i never saw pink fins like them? are they those plastic ones, i have seen them in the stores sometimes, and they are pink like that too , for why i have no clue...But you did say 15 years ago you had them done?
So they are real?
Why are they pink tho?
Is it the way the maker of them wanted them?

Those smallmouth are getting a lot of flash from the camera or lights.  The upper two fish are not as bad as the bottom ones.  I'm sure they look more natural in person.

Very nice.  I really like the plaque for the antlers -- very unique and something I've always thought of doing.  Im just not handy enough to do it.

I sure hope your dog doesn't have night mares about bears attacking him through the walls.

Being the city girl I am and getting married to a country boy 26 years ago, my husband taught me how to hunt and fish.  We were blessed with three great boys, and I am really serious about the great thing.  They also love to hunt and fish.  So needless to say..The livingroom has 7 deer head mounts, 7 fish mounts, fox and coyote hides. Our diningroom used to be decorated with bird houses but now has 4 ducks and a phesant.  We love the outdoors.  We love to hunt and fish.  We also do demolition derbies in our area.  It will be a sad day for me when the boys move out and take thie mounts with them and leave some of our walls bare.

I will try and get a few together for you. I do actually enjoy these rooms..My girlfriends think I am crazy to allow this, but this is our life and the best part is, I know where my family is and what the heck they are doing.  The woods is a good place to be...
I did my last derby last year..I had to try it one more time and then realized I was getting a bit older to get banged around so much..enjoy watching the boys though.

Granted this is not on a wall but I had this 28 done this way because that is how grandpa would keep the ones he brought in. We would bring the old metal Hamms cooler out with ice and buckhorn and throw the keepers in there. It is an awesome way to keep the fish fresh on a hot summer day. On a stringer or a live well they perish fast. but on a block of ice they retain their color and live longer. The cubes in the box are glass. and the fish's color is pretty really close to the ones that come from hat particular lake. Anyone remember those old padded lid metal coolers?
I just wish the Wife would allow it in the house.

By no means a trophy but I kept hangin the little racks on when I did not pull a doe tag. The last three years I have been letting this size buck walk. I hung this over the stairway where the wife can't reach. She does not like it and her girl friends don't understand why she allows it but I think she lets it go because it makes me happy.

Ken!  the cooler mount is awesome!  Ive seen alot of different, off the wall(no pun intended ;)) mounts, but that is really original.  All ya got to tell your wife is that its an ottoman... with an outdoorsy twist!  Perfect for that gunroom/study/guy's room, sitting in front of that big old, overstuffed lazyboy....Those old coolers were great... I have an old one that was my grandpas, its gotta be 50 or more years old.... Have ya ever used that cooler to mess around with the DNR or any unsuspecting friends? ;)

Yeah Thunder it works great as a joke but it doesn't last long because everyone always has to pick up the fish.
