What's your favorite outdoor based movie, I have to go with The Ghost and The Darkness. That would be one heck of a hunt especially when you have to use yourself for bait!!!

OK my favorite outdoor base movie is "Escanaba in Da Moonlight" staring Jeff Daniels.  If you haven't seen it -- SEE IT!  It really is funny.  One or 2 parts get kinda weird/slow but its worth it.

You could use Jeremiah Johnson for both this movie thread and the song thread too.

Have you guy's ever seen the the movie, (I think it's called) The buckless uper? I seen it a couple years back at a friends house, It was pretty good, just not sure of the name.

Oh yaaa dat der would-a been Escanaba in Da Moonlight.  "Ruben" was known as da buckless Yupper cause he aint never shot no buck.

I love that movie, Jeremiah Johnson. I also loved watching Grizzly Adams every weekend growing up!! What great TV!

As far as outdoor related movies.....

I love On Golden Pond!!! One of my all time favorites. I usually start watching that movie about the end of January into February. "We caught walter!"
