Ok, first of all, no deer died today. However, I had a great time watching natures show. It was a bit cold out (18 degrees when I went out) but very little wind made it quite nice out. From sunup to about 10:30 I saw 17 deer of which 4 were bucks. I watched two bucks fighting as a fork took on an 8 pointer. While they were fighting a doe walked by them followed by a BIG buck. Due to the distance (over 100 yards) I didn't get a real good look but the side towards me was very heavy. When the sun hit the trees, the leaves started raining down. Cool as heck to watch the deer watching leaves fall from the trees.

Due to the distance, the picture isn't very good but the fight was. lol

Doe didn't care that I was just yards from her.

Talk about the perfect quartering away shot.

Great times! Some of my favorites hunt involved not taking an animal.
