Tree or bush I.D.
We have the clump of trees or bush at the farm. We noticed there were bees all over this tree or bush. It has some kind of blossom I think that is attracting the bees. Any ideas?

Sure looks & sounds like it. Beekeepers like finding a concentration of basswood in an area. Makes awesome honey I am told... :cool:

Thanks all, yea as soon as I got close, I could hear all this buzzing, very loud. There were hundred if not thousand of bees in that tree.

We have quite a few Basswoods and like them.  The bee guy has bees across the road.  I will watch the basswood (linden) trees for the bees.  During the football season they raid the hummer feeders here.
