I have a question for you gals and feller's that reload shells.

Here is the question: Can rim fire shells be reloaded?

I have a pistol that I can't buy loads for anymore........

It's a .32 ultra short, rim fire.....yes, a rim fire.
Or if you know where I can purchase some, I would appreciate the info!

Thanks,
Hunter

Yep, just got off of there again.

Mostly just forums that are listed, and they are looking for .32 rimfire longs.
I've been to gun shows and they tell me the same thing.............GOOD LUCK!

Most want me to reline the pistol and convert it to a .22 .....and that's not an option.

There is no practical way to reload rimfire ammo.
You might try Old Western Scrounger for the ammo, they sometimes
have some odd ammo.

Gramps is right, your not going to find anyway to reload a rim fire.
The primers are built right into the rim so there is no way to replace them after firing them.

I would search the gun shows this winter and next spring if you really must have ammo for it.

I also agree with you on NOT relining the barrel, your gun would be worthless to any collector and would only be a shooter after that point.

You might find a barrel to replace yours , them have the new barrel re lined to shoot and keep your origanal if you ever want it back in.

Thanks Guy's for the input!

I kinda knew that you couldn't reload rimfire. But I hadn't asked in awhile, I thought maybe some new fangled thing might have came out by now.

Through the grape vine, someone was telling me to drill out the old hulls and insert a 6mm rimfire primer in there...........But, It don't sound safe and I'm not that desperate yet, besides I would like to have original loads, not some hokey, un-tested load.

Yea, Benny, this pistol is in near mint condition, and I didn't want to mess with it in any way. And having some loads with it (IF, I ever sell it...prolly not) Might add to the value.

Thanks Again!
