What to say, that hasn't been said before...........

BASS! The largemouth are hot on the lake!
We went out for the last few hours of the day last night in search of pike, but mostly caught bass. We hit the shallow weed beds and the rush'es and hit bass after bass casting spinner baits. We boated over 20 in those few hours. With a few pike in between, it was a blast!
The bass we caught were in the 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 pound range, and the pike were 24 to 28 inches.

Have heard reports of the Walleyes picking up. Hitting just before dark on the edges of the drop offs. Slip bobbers and jigs, from what I was told. Guess I might have to go chase a few of those myself!

Muskie fishermen out in full force, 4 boats out on the rock flat casting.....for a Thursday night, that's quite a few!

Hope everything is good in your neck of the woods!
