It seems like the step child noone ever talks about. I always hear about west but not to often east? A guy at work said they were doing pretty good on pike out there. I am going to try tomorrow. Any body got any advice on perch fishing? I heard there are some nice size perch in the lake as well.
 thanks,  Aaron

For Perch fish'in I usually like to fish by the 20 foot hole, between the 4 foot sunk'in island in 12 to 15 feet of water. It's just south of the access. It's also a good place to set your tip ups within a legal distance for Pike around that sunk'in island in about 6 to 8 feet of water. You can fish for Perch and Pike at the same time, it drops off pretty good there.

Went out today stayed shallow 5-10 feet. Had 7 flags 4 pike and lost a BIG one. All were in the slot so no fish for the table but had fun got both kids out and my 8 year old got his first tip up fish.

Sunday was my first time ice fishing either lake so couldnt say. I dont have a camera or flasher all I can really tell you is that we fished an area where there was gravel in one hole and weeds in the other hole 10 feet away and didnt get a bite other than tip ups in shallow.

We were straight across from the access on the point. In about 8 feet of water. We were hoping to get some more pike action but 3 lb bass on an ice rod is a good time!
