Has anybody been out?
We went out chasing pheasants and got 2...not bad for the first time out this year.
We only walked about an hour, getting the dog back in the groove.
Lots of corn still up and the swamp grass is high.

Anybody else been out?

Saturday and Sunday.  Saturday limited out in 4 hours.  Sunday I took my dad for an hour and we got 3.  Any time you're ready to go HD.

I went out, didn't get anything.  Saddest part is, opener, on public land, with many other hunters at the other parking spot, at 9:10 a.m. (got there late), I walked about 15 feet into the land, my dog flushed the biggest pheasant I have ever seen, up real close, and I completely missed, twice.  Didn't expect the good luck, and when it popped up anyway, I completely flubbed the shot.
