Music Fest at Old Mill State Park rescheduled for July 18
(Released June 17, 2010)

The Music Fest featuring area musicians, previously scheduled to take place at Old Mill State Park in Argyle (north of Thief River Falls) on Sunday, July 25, has been rescheduled due to performers’ schedules. It is now scheduled for Sunday, July 18, from 1-5 p.m. The event is free, although a vehicle permit ($5 for a one-day permit, $25 for a year-round permit) is required to enter the park. As an added bonus, the Marshall County Historical Society will commemorate Creamery Picnics of the past by serving free ice cream while the musicians perform.

Details about this and other programs taking place at Minnesota state parks, trails and recreation areas this summer can be found in the online calendar at www.mndnr.gov/parksandtrails or by calling the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Information Center at 651-296-6157 or toll-free 888-646-6367 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
