I would say he is a shooter, not alot of points, but definitely some size/length to the rack.
-- especially, if I remember right, you havent been seeing too many bucks, so he might be the macho man this year.

i have seen this guy a few times, but this is the first time on camera, seen smaller bucks that need a year or 2 to grow. just one other deer that has caught my attention that i really want and its a non-typical and his rack is one big mess, i like those weird racks. but i dont think i can let this guy walk if he comes by. my stand is in the background in the tress(the set of 3 directly behind him)

So are you thinking this guy is 3.5 years old?  Or did he just have a big rack when he was 1.5?

Never the less, he is a nice deer and seems like he will be around your stand.  I have never shot or even seen an atypical on our land, I guess there was a few bucks (probably 10-15 years ago) with drop tines and atpyical racks running around our property, but nothing since then.
Some day I hope to get a nice atypical - maybe we have one around I havent seen!

Where abouts in 601 are you hunting Cody?  Northern I would guess?

Ya, go ahead and take him if you can.  Some times they just don't get a lot of points.

I aint going to say I would never kill a deer like that. But you got to remember you cant kill a big buck if you shoot the good bucks
What makes a BoneCollector?
They are the hunters that have the passion to go to the ends of the earth, in pursuit of the basic hunter instincy that was instilled in us at birth and is so often taken away in society.

well to me he looks like a mature deer, whats everyone else think? he would be my biggest to date, and i hunt with the rule(my own rule) that i must shoot something bigger each year than the previous year and nothing less. there are exceptions to that like last year, the young buck had a tumor hanging from his eye so i culled him.

Bone collector is right Cody.  If you want a really big deer you will have to let him go this year to be a great deer next year.  But ultimately the choice is only yours.  He is a really nice buck, you make the call.

We have a stud of a deer that me and my brothers are chasing right now.  I passed on him 3 years ago and have not had a crack at him during legel shooting light since.  Do I regret passing him as a good buck?  HELL NO.  It isn't the killing that trips my trigger. Its the chase!

Good luck and don't worry about what other would do as long as it makes you happy.
Make your first shot count, it might be the only one you get.
