Well we headed out last Wednesday on our yearly trip to South Dakota Pheasant hunting.  We limited out every day however I did notice the numbers were not like years past, but they were still outstanding.  My dog Blaze, now 5, was a machine.  He was pointing and retrieving everything in sight.  The deer were running like rats out there.  Every where you looked there was another one.  The night life isn't so bad either.  Once again it was good times for all.  I however forgot to charge the camera and have this one shot off my phone until my buddy gets me the pictures off his camera.

General,

Indeed looks like a good shoot! all wild birds? Curious how far west did you travel?,I hunted the north central part of the state two weeks, after 500 miles in two days I counted 5 hens, the farmers I talked to said its the worst they have ever seen, the long winter and wet spring put a hurt on them,on the other hand I got reports from near the missouri river they had good #'s.

Glenn , My Buddies Stupid Lab doesn't know the difference between a hen and a rooster.  J/K of course about the hen. ;D

Snow, They are all 100% wild birds.  We hunt with a Farmer we know by Aberdeen.
