Time of the year for BIG pike!

This my favorite time of the year to chase BIG pike!
Shallow running shads, double jointed, jerk baits....you name it...they will eat it!

Anybody else looking for pike?

HD you know I will be out tossing them big spinnerbaits with the big paddle tail trailers. Matter of fact tomorrow I will be out on my favorate little northern lake testing out some of DDS blue spinners! Some may think we are done in the challenge when we have just gotten into good fishing up here at Lake Iwanttobethere

   I will be spending a few days  in Orr Minnesota in the near future.  There will be some duck hunting but the majority of the time will be used chasing big pike.  I plan on throwing big bladed spinner baits with trailers.  I made up a bunch of buzz baits as well.  Cranking if we have to.  All baits are going to be big.  Not looking for 26 inchers.  It's trophy time!
