Ice report...It’s cold! Below zero this morning.  Great news as ice is being made!  Zippel Bay, Four Mile Bay Morris Bay and the NW Angle are all frozen over right now.  Morris Point Lodge is expecting to allow foot traffic on the ice Wednesday and Adrians Resort is checking ice conditions daily.  There were a few people tip up fishing on Four Mile Bay this weekend!  The river is frozen over from Four Mile Bay all the way up to at least Birchdale. There was ice on the main lake this weekend, but the wind picked up last night and broke it up.  The weather forecast is not expected to go above freezing until Friday, so we will keep making ice and are getting closer to ice fishing!  Please use resorts and their ice roads for safety and adhere to weight limits  www.lakeofthewoodsmn.com for the latest.
