Ice report... As a general rule, there is anywhere from 3" - 7" of ice
on 4 Mile Bay and 4" - 7" on the main lake.  Spots with snow have the
thinner ice typically.  Resorts are grooming trails and checking ice
daily.  40"+ northerns were caught this past weekend on 4 Mile Bay.
Local guides on foot have been catching walleyes on lake.  Water
clarity on the lake looks good, with reports of 4' - 5', that is great
news.  Looking at possibly 4 wheeler traffic by the weekend.
Important, use a resort or outfitter to access ice for safety.
