Welp, we cleared shooting lanes today, put up a ladder stand and did a little red-neck roof repair.
Everything was going ok till the boy blew the reverse out of the Polaris (love that wheeler) (not)

What are you folks doing?

Is that really tin on the roof.  What happens when the sun hits it on a cold day.  Bong, bang, tang, pop.....   :rotflmao:

I'm hoping to get a pike that field dresses at about 200 lbs.

Stripped old semi truck tire inner tube would quiet it down a touch then you could here deer walking better or not have to wear ear plugs. I use to sleep over a steel roof and it put me to sleep faster.

Set up a new blind on my old flatbed trailer this week, will brush it in this weekend....  A set up for a good friend that had his hip removed from cancer this spring that can't walk.  We can drive right up to it and roll him even in a wheelchair if we have to.   100yd strip of woods that deer go thru every night to get to food source (corn field).  Should be a easy shot!
