Son interested in hunting turkey this spring (2014)...

Greetings all.  My son has indicated an interest in trying to hunt turkey this spring.  On the outside chance we get drawn for a permit, I've begun to scout areas on the east side of the metro (Woodbury, Afton, etc) but not having a lot of luck getting permissions.  If any of you have ideas or if a friendly farmer would like protection from a particularly annoying Tom, please feel free to drop me an email.  Thanks all!

Or....you can sign him up for a youth hunt if he is under 17...........
