I'm thankful for the fact that I was able to enjoy being with my Mom for another day, sharing a good meal with her put on by the care facility, and that she ate well and really enjoyed it. Put it away darned good for someone 90 years old. I'm also thankful for the fact that I didn't  after politely eating all my green bean casserole .....

Ya, she's still pretty perky! Asked her jokingly if she was gonna share her punkie pie, and she said  "Get yer own!"
