After checking ice we are finding most of it is 11 inches and we will maybe gain another 1/2 inch over the next couple of days. We are not getting great ice making weather anywhere in the state. We did find a area with just 9 inches. So we are not seeing the ice thickness we would like to see for driving 1/2 tons. Below is what we will be allowing this coming weekend.
Walking traffic
ATV, SxS, small cars or trucks under 4,000lbs
Single axle houses pulled by the above.
Yeti houses pulled by the above
Tandems 21 foot or under by SXS or ATV
Tandems above 21 stay in the dirt
We do have some skid houses in the dirt available this week for rental, call 612-369-6351. Our big houses will be out the day after Christmas. Our rental wheel houses are out on the lake.
The governor has extended his order through the holidays so all bars in the state will be closed. Sorry no bringing your own drinks in the bar. Our restaurant will be doing take out pizza and we will be doing our fish fries between 5 Pm and 9:45 Pm.
Remember to watch out for small children and pets around the resort. It looks like we are getting another warm weekend to get out and enjoy.
