we have the ice... now we need the snow
well, not seeing any temp above zero for a while now... we have plenty of ice.
Now we just need some snow.
I watched the snowmobile club marking the lake trail yesterday, and there is probably 6-7 inches of snow around. Good enough for the lake, but the portage and land trails are a little rough.
people have been catching walleyes though.   expecting things to get up into the 30s middle of next week...  so fishing may pick up. Maybe i'll even finally venture out. :fish2:

over a foot on the main lake... I did see my first truck driving out there yesterday.
